SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A person was arrested after allegedly hitting an individual with a hammer Friday morning within the Tenderloin neighborhood, the San Francisco Police Division stated. The hammer assault occurred round 8:46 a.m. on the 700 block of Ellis Road.
The suspect and sufferer had been in a verbal dispute earlier than the alleged assault occurred. Police stated the suspect, recognized as 38-year-old Christopher Redinger, fled the scene after hitting the sufferer with the hammer.
Just a few hours later round 12:17 p.m., officers noticed Redinger close to Ellis and Hyde Road. SFPD developed possible trigger and arrested the suspect, the division stated.
Paramedics had been referred to as to the scene of the assault. The situation of the sufferer is unknown right now.
Redinger was booked into San Francisco County Jail on expenses of tried homicide and a probation violation, based on SFPD. He was arrested final December in connection to a deadly stabbing within the Castro neighborhood in San Francisco, KRON4 reported.
