Man hits particular person with hammer, charged with tried homicide: SFPD

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A person was arrested after allegedly hitting an individual with a hammer Friday morning within the Tenderloin neighborhood, the San Francisco Police Division stated. The hammer assault occurred round 8:46 a.m. on the 700 block of Ellis Road.

The suspect and sufferer had been in a verbal dispute earlier than the alleged assault occurred. Police stated the suspect, recognized as 38-year-old Christopher Redinger, fled the scene after hitting the sufferer with the hammer.
