Palm tree catches hearth exterior Angel Stadium throughout Saturday evening fireworks present – Orange County Register

Baseball followers watching a fireworks present after Saturday evening’s recreation at Angel Stadium have been handled to a bit of greater than the deliberate show after a palm tree caught on hearth, authorities stated.

Anaheim Fireplace & Rescue responded to the north finish of the Angel Stadium property at round 9 p.m. Saturday for a name a couple of palm tree on hearth. The Angels performed the A’s in Anaheim on Saturday night.

Firefighters arrived and extinguished the hearth, which didn’t lengthen to every other bushes or buildings.

It wasn’t instantly confirmed that the hearth was attributable to fireworks and the trigger was underneath investigation, stated metropolis hearth and police spokesman Sgt. Jon McClintock.
