The costliest houses offered in Downtown and Midtown prior to now two weeks

A house in Sacramento that sold for $850,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Downtown and Midtown in the past two weeks.

In total, eight residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past two weeks, with an average price of $623,500, $498 per square foot.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded from the week of October 9 to the week of Oct. 21 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

1. $340K, condominium in the 1600 block of 11th Street

   The 563 square-foot condominium in the 1600 block of 11th Street in Sacramento has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in October and the total purchase price was $340,000, $604 per square foot. The condominium was built in 1984.

2. $525K, single-family residence in the 2300 block of L Street

   The sale of the single-family home in the 2300 block of L Street, Sacramento, has been finalized. The price was $525,000, and the new owners took over the house in October. The house was built in 1890 and has a living area of 1,732 square feet. The price per square foot was $303.
