Truck crammed with 1000’s of kilos of marijuana crashes into California fireplace station’s gates

A U-Haul truck crammed with packing containers of marijuana crashed into the gates of the Sierra Madre Fireplace Division’s headquarters after the driving force bought shot within the arm — prompting his arrest and that of his passenger, authorities mentioned.

The truck was carrying an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 kilos of marijuana, sheriff’s Lt. David Kearney mentioned. The marijuana was in vacuum sealed packages.

The U-Haul truck was driving within the unincorporated neighborhood of north San Gabriel when somebody in a dark-colored sport utility car shot on the truck, he mentioned.

The truck later struck a automobile in both north San Gabriel or east Pasadena, Kearney mentioned.

The motive force of the sideswiped automobile adopted the field truck to the crash in Sierra Madre, which is at 242 W. Sierra Madre Blvd, sheriff’s Sgt. David Hernandez mentioned.

The person driving the U-Haul truck and the person who was his passenger have been arrested on suspicion of transporting narcotics, Hernandez mentioned.

The collision left the station’s gates bent, Sierra Madre police Sgt. Charles Kamchamnan mentioned.

It was unclear if the driving force was going to the fireplace station for medical consideration.
