After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $308.
The best deal can be found in Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $278.
In the past week, a 932-square-foot home on Northwoods Boulevard in Truckee sold for $585,000.
