A 40-year-old lady was arrested after being accused of setting a Goal retailer on fireplace in Buena Park to divert consideration from her stealing child formulation, authorities mentioned.
She was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 14, every week after a blaze erupted in a garments rack within the kids’s division, prompting workers and prospects to evacuate.
The hearth result in the Goal, at 7530 Orangethorpe Ave., to briefly closed.
In keeping with police, the harm to the shop was estimated at $500,000 to $1 million, primarily due to water and smoke harm.
No accidents had been reported.
Orange County Hearth Authority arson investigators and Buena Park police performed a joint investigation. It was unclear how authorities discovered the suspect.
