Napa County to obtain $500K to recruit, prepare farmers

(KRON) — Congressman Mike Thompson introduced Napa County will obtain $500,000 in funding to recruit and prepare farmers in underrepresented teams.

The funding is aimed to spice up efforts wanted to develop and keep expertise of farmers in Napa whereas preserving the state’s specialty crops sector aggressive.

The grant will probably be given by means of the federal Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.
