One-day closure of Bay Path Monday for bridge alternative venture

(BCN) — A part of the San Francisco Bay Path might be closed in Redwood Metropolis on Monday to accommodate work on a bridge alternative venture, based on Caltrans.

The path might be closed between Bair Island Highway and Twin Dolphin Drive from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday so crews can do work on the Cordilleras Creek Bridge Alternative Challenge adjoining to U.S. Freeway 101.

Based on Caltrans, the bridge was initially constructed in 1930 and was on the finish of its service life.

The San Francisco Bay Path is a community of greater than 350 miles of strolling and bicycling paths that ring the San Francisco and San Pablo bays. Extra details about the Bay Path might be discovered at https://mtc.ca.gov/operations/regional-trails-parks/san-francisco-bay-trail.
