Sufferer robbed by man he met on Caltrain: police

(KRON) — A person was arrested in downtown Palo Alto on Monday after he robbed a person that he met on a Caltrain, in line with the Palo Alto Police Division. Dennis Isaac Holmes, 36, of San Jose was recognized because the suspect.

PAPD obtained a name at about 9:15 p.m. from a person in his 30s who stated he had been robbed. The sufferer stated the crime occurred on Alma Road at Lytton Avenue and the suspect was a person he had simply met using on the Caltrain.

After using the practice from San Jose to Palo Alto, the sufferer stated the person he met stole his backpack and a bag of garments. The suspect allegedly stated he had a gun and threatened to kill the sufferer except he gave up his belongings.

At about 9:26 p.m., PAPD obtained a name from workers on the 7-Eleven positioned at 401 Waverley St. who stated a person inside the shop was making a disturbance. He was recognized because the theft suspect and arrested.

When Holmes was arrested, he had the sufferer’s gadgets however no gun. He was booked into jail on suspicion of theft (felony) and parole violation. He was beforehand convicted of assault with a lethal weapon.
