(KRON) — An individual was rescued after they went off-road and drove off a cliff Friday afternoon, the Sonoma County Sheriff stated on Fb. Round 4:05 p.m., crews responded to a automotive accident close to Calistoga Highway and Gates Highway — roughly 10 miles northeast of downtown Santa Rosa.
A helicopter was known as to the scene to assist the sufferer who fell roughly 100 toes, authorities stated. A 200-foot-long cable line was used to rescue the person and extradite them from their automotive.

The sufferer was flown to an ambulance and brought to a close-by hospital. The individual suffered “average” accidents, and their situation is unknown presently.
Hearth and medical personnel from the Sonoma County Hearth District and the Santa Rosa Hearth Division assisted within the response.
