(KRON) — Though it’s October and fall season, the Bay Space has recorded heat temperatures this week as a warmth advisory went into impact at 11 a.m. Thursday. Inland cities comparable to Harmony and Livermore have recorded highs of 96 levels and 94 levels, respectively, in response to the Nationwide Climate Service Bay Space.
Half Moon Bay shattered a decade-old excessive temperature report on Thursday, the NWS stated. Temperatures within the San Mateo County metropolis reached 90 levels — the earlier report was 82 levels on today in 2013.
As of Thursday night, the NWS stated solely Half Moon Bay was the one metropolis within the area to interrupt a report. Different notable highs embrace Vallejo, which reached 97 levels. Officers stated the Bay Space was at “moderate-to-major warmth danger.”
