Police impersonator arrested, accused of conducting unlawful site visitors stops in Metropolis of Business

An individual accused of impersonating a police officer and conducting unlawful site visitors stops within the Metropolis of Business was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division deputies.

The arrest was introduced Wednesday by the LASD Business Station.

The unidentified individual allegedly made a number of illegal stops within the East Valinda space close to Nogales Excessive Faculty, officers mentioned.

Images shared by the Sheriff’s Division confirmed the suspect carrying an entire regulation enforcement officer’s uniform and standing subsequent to a motorbike outfitted to look nearly precisely like an official police bike.

Extra photographs confirmed the suspect loaded into the again of a Sheriff’s Division car, in addition to an array of official-looking objects that have been apparently a part of the whole costume.

The objects included a bulletproof vest, emergency radio, badge and holster with a stun gun. Officers didn’t say if any of the objects have been legit or simply replicas.

The suspect’s face is obscured within the photographs, and police haven’t but recognized them. The precise time and placement of the arrest was additionally not specified.

An investigation has since been launched by the Sheriff’s Division into the alleged illegal stops and anybody who might have been pulled over by the impersonator is urged to return ahead.
